The Mukamis tell her that they need her blood for their plan since she is the chosen "Eve". The Mukami brothers abduct Yui and take her back to their mansion, while the Sakamaki brothers ponder over Yui's sudden disappearance. The next day, Yui can't sleep and ends up taking a stroll in the garden where she has an unusual encounter. On the car ride to school with the Sakamaki brothers, an accident occurs causing the limousine to crash and be set on fire. Yui has a dream where a mysterious voice keeps calling her 'Eve'. The boys hatch a plan to get rid of Cordelia for good. The struggle between Yui and Cordelia for control over the body comes to a head. As she finally gets an answer to the question most prominent on her mind, whether or not her father knowingly sacrificed his daughter to these monsters, that answer becomes irrelevant in so many ways as the awakening is nigh.Ĭordelia and Richter savor one another's company for the first time in ages, until Ayato interrupts, demanding to know what they have done to Yui.Ĭordelia flaunts her reanimation amongst the members of the Sakamaki household, who immediately want her and her lover, Richter out of their home once and for all. At first, he is unhelpful but quickly becomes interested in obliging her request for answers by forcibly tasting her blood to verify that it has indeed changed somehow. Yui experiences more chest pains and leaves the mansion in the middle of the night to seek answers from Shu. Yui spends a sleepless night in her chamber, made less restful by the arrival of an unwanted guest. Yui runs out of the house in horror and collapses sobbing in the garden, only to be approached by Subaru, who demands she keep her distance from him, or else. Yui asks the triplets about the woman in the purple dress who she spotted in the garden, and learns the grusome truth about what befell their mother. She learns that they were always forced to do things they didn't want to by their mothers which is the reason they act the way they do now. Yui learns about the sad past of all six brothers and their relationships with their mothers. It featured Yui's first encounter alone with each of the Sakamaki brothers. Later, Subaru tells her to escape, but she decides not to, so Subaru gives her a silver knife which can kill vampires.Ī recap episode which featured events from episode 1 to 6. Kanato confirms her suspicions and gleefully sets to adding her to their collection, until he is interrupted by a summons. As she views his family's collection of wax figures all in bridal wear, she finds herself eerily aware that things are not as benign as they appear. Yui refuses to accept that she should suddenly stop showing compassion towards her fellow man merely because they are vampires, and allows herself to be led to one of Kanato's most favorite places in his little world. Much to her folly, she enters the room to see if he needs help. Reeling from this experience, Yui wanders through the estate, and becomes worried when she hears groans coming from Reiji's room. Assuming he would like some time alone, Yui attempts to leave which only infuriates Kanato with misplaced anger. He beckons her to follow him so he may show off a graveyard containing the grave of his mother. Kanato finds Yui in the rose garden as she tries to sort out the new information about who betrayed her and gave her up as a sacrifice. Laito proceeds to punish her using decidedly less childish methods, and mocks her for believing in something that can't physically save her from the evil that is him. Yui accidentally displeases teddy bear-holding Kanato by incorrectly guessing what he wants from her, and he punishes her for her lack of comprehension skills by displacing her school bag, which in turn causes her to displease Laito by being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Then she learns to her sorrow that she doesn't have a single ally in the entire household. She enters the enormous bathroom to draw a bath for herself only to find Shu listlessly soaking in it, fully clothed. She is temporarily released from her duties as his personal plaything and sippy cup so she may get bathed. Life with the six brothers becomes even stranger as Yui loses her appetite and becomes 'marked' as Ayato's possession. She has a really hard time as Ayato forces her to do everything he wants, even drink her blood. It is the first day of a new high school for Yui, with Ayato and Kanato in same class as her. Unable to escape and with traditional anti-vampire weapons being useless, she becomes lost within the labyrinth of hallways. Yui Komori finds herself in a house full of bloodthirsty vampires.

In this study, we summarise the taxonomic and faunistic studies of European Limoniidae, which described new species and reported first country records, between 20. Despite the fact that the European limoniid crane fly fauna has been studied ever since Carolus Linnaeus, it is still poorly known. Limoniidae is one of the most species-rich Dipteran families, with 661 reported species in Europe. This study represents an important contribution to the knowledge of species composition and distribution of crane flies in Western Balkans. The most interesting finding are Geranomyia fuscior, which was previously known only from Albania, Portugal and Libya, and Tipula (Savtshenkia) gimmerthali gimmerthali which is reported for the first time from the Western Balkans, due to the fact that less is known about their distribution in the area. Four species found during this investigation are first records for Republic of Kosovo: Geranomyia fuscior Stary, 2012, Limonia macrostigma (Schummel, 1829), Rhypholophus bifurcatus Goetghebuer, 1920, Tipula (Savtshenkia) benesignata Mannheims, 1954 and three other species are first records for Republic of North Macedonia: Erioptera (Erioptera) fusculenta Edwards, 1938, Tipula (Savtshenkia) gimmerthali gimmerthali Lackschewitz, 1925 and Tipula (Schummelia) variicornis variicornis Schummel, 1833. A number of 7 species belonging to 5 genera and 2 families were collected. Then, click the settings tab next to the presets and navigate to the frame size. This can be a preset you use all the time, like a 1080p preset.
Attendees who have downloaded one of the Zoom applications to their computer or tablet can adjust the font size of the captions. Here are some of the benefits of using the Zoom closed captioning feature: With Zoom webinars and webcasts you can also designate an attendee as the captioner. If you record a Collaborate session where you have a real-time captioner, the captions are saved in the MP4 video file and are also downloadable as a WebVTT file after the session. The font color and size used for the captions is configurable. As with StreamText caption feeds, there is very little delay in delivery of the captions. There are several advantages of Blackboard Collaborate's real-time closed captioning feature: Blackboard Collaborateīlackboard Collaborate allows any meeting attendee to be designated as the captioner. There are some additional potential advantages, and disadvantages that vary by platform. The advantage of this method is that users do not need to go outside of the video platform to turn on or view captions, and no secondary browser is required. Since these captions can be toggled on or off by individual users, they are referred to as closed captions. Most webcasting and live video streaming platforms provide a method for streaming a real-time captioning feed within the platform's user interface. Provide Closed Captions via Your Video Platform Note that using StreamText is an option with all of our real-time captioning services, and is provided on request at no extra charge. Some scenarios that cause a lag or delay are mentioned below. This is because StreamText delivers the captions from the caption writer almost character-for-character (sometimes you'll even see the cursor back up while the writer makes a correction), while video streaming platforms often have a delay, due to various technical reasons. More information on how to use the StreamText caption player as a standalone web page is available in our Using StreamText with Live Captioning article.Īnother advantage of using StreamText to view live captions is that the feed is often much closer to real-time than when viewing captions via many live video streaming platforms. The live feed page allows the users to customize the display options, like background color, font type, color and size. The real-time captioning text will be displayed on the page as it is transcribed by the captioner, and can be opened in any web browser. Streaming the real-time captions this way has the advantage of not requiring any embedding or encoding of the feed into the platform where the video is playing. StreamText is a platform that delivers real-time/live captions, and can be accessed by users as a single web page. Separately, the CIA uploaded dozens of its own records about UFO sightings and inexplicable events from around the world to its FOIA Electronic Reading Room dating from the late 1940s to the early 1990s. Some of these records address a UFO sighting in Morocco, Iran, Ukraine, and other regions, confidential messages stating the need for advice from “CIA UFO Experts,” request for an identification of a “Space Message,” and more. The 2,780 pages released by The Black Vault showcase UFO-related records declassified by the CIA since the 1980s. In an effort to make sure The Black Vault stayed up to date, in mid 2020, this CD-ROM was purchased to have one particular data dump available for all users of The Black Vault. However, over time, the CIA made a CD-ROM collection of UFO documents, which encompassed the original records, along with the ones that took years to fight for. The Black Vault spent years fighting for them, and many were released in the late 1990s. The Black Vault’s site owner, John Greenewald, said he filed numerous Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests since 1996 to get the files because “the public has a right to know!” In a post on The Black Vault’s website he said: Thousands of pages are available from the 1940s through the early 1990s both on the CIA’s own website and on The Black Vault, a privately run archive of declassified documents. Ever been curious about the Central Intelligence Agency’s (CIA) research on unidentified flying objects (UFOs)? Well now you can access a treasure trove of agency documents from past decades. It’s a nice idea if you have the space and the ladder matches your bathroom’s design style. Here’s an idea from Ana-White who suggests framing the toilet with a ladder shelving system. The shelves will stand out with a solid look, but keep the design simple. You want to make the space above your toilet look less empty. They also feel the frames are bulky and unsuitable for storage containers. They claim it gives a bathroom a cold look and lacks style. You can install a cabinet over your commode, but designers are opposed to this idea for a few reasons. Can You Install Storage Cabinets Over Your Toilet? If you want opulence, 19 or 24-inch deep shelving is recommended. With deeper shelving, your bathroom decor items will not look like they’re dangling from the shelves. For this reason, we recommend 14-inch deep shelving. Over the toilet shelves keep your bathroom organized and efficient. What Length Should Over The Toilet Shelves Be? Also, the bottom shelf should be high enough so you can remove the tank lid when necessary. The cabinet or shelf you install above your toilet should be two feet above the tank. How High Should Over The Toilet Shelves Be? Look at these great design ideas and start planning your next DIY bathroom project. Although a bathroom DIY project is not as big as designing a kitchen, that doesn’t mean it’s not important. Toilet storage is more than creating a space on your wall for toilet paper. There’s no such thing as a bad DIY idea when executed the right way. For the right price, you can designate the space for a sleek multi-level open shelf system, or vanity. The space above your toilet is a great storage area and one that is often ignored. Over the toilet shelves play a vital role in bathroom design. Don’t get me wrong, games like Super Stardust, Resogun, and Nex Machina have their own irrepressible wealth of style, charm, and elegance, but you’d think the road from a colorful blast orgy to a hellish space spiral would be much longer. Hoping not to take away or oversimplify the developer’s previous work, it seems fair to say that Finnish developer Housemarque has achieved this by building beautified, bubbling, and visually maximizing interpretations of classic blaster games like Space Invaders and Asteroids. It’s a testament to the developer’s balance and moderation that the game’s otherwise disparate and even conflicting elements actually come together to create the intended mix of thrills and action.Īnd Returnal will only think of who is really behind it hands and become even more impressive. While much of the game’s time is spent in heavy and intense third-person action and carefully navigating through the maze-like level mods, there are some contrasting moments where Returnal plunges into deep water in sheer horror. It’s a grim, terrifying, irresistibly morbid tale in every sense of the word Returnal delivers, successfully tapping into the cyclical underpinnings that underpin so many games, and managing to navigate through existential turmoil, unsolved mysteries, pitch-black A mixture of atmospheric atmosphere and sporadic horror to pique curiosity quickly and consistently. Unresolved memories from the past also start to creep in, as the mesmerizing circular motion of time forms a downward spiral, hellishly toward the center of madness. Every time she dies-and she dies often, because the dangers aboard the murky Atropos are many-she wakes up in the same place, next to the wreckage of the spaceship she arrived at. Like ride-shares, taxis and vans are required to drop off at the LAX-it lot, adding a 7-15 minute shuttle ride to the terminal. Taxis vans are still an option, with a ride to and from LAX running approximately$40. USC has a free shuttle to and from Union Station. The bus takes about 35 minutes from Union Station to Terminal 1. The Flyaway shuttle provides direct service from Union Station to LAX’s terminals. For reference, the Metro trip costs less than $2 while a ride-share can cost upwards of $40. “I have Ubered before, but it’s really expensive,” said Andrew Otterson, a senior global health major. A shuttle bus runs every 10 minutes from Aviation to LAX’s terminals. From there, transfer to the Metro C (Green) line to Aviation Boulevard/LAX station. Travelers can take the Metro J (Silver) from 37th Street/USC to the Harbor Freeway station. Metro offers the cheapest option, but it is comparatively slower. If baggage space is a concern, Uber and Lyft offer SUV options. The approximate cost for an UberX or Lyft is $40, which can be split three ways. He expressed concern about trusting a ride-share driver with his belongings. “If there was a shuttle service that USC provided, that would be a lot safer,” said Samar Jethani, a freshman business administration major. Terminal 1 is adjacent to LAX-it, with a 3-minute walk separating the two. Uber/Lyftīeware estimated times in ride-share apps-drivers are required to drop off and pick up in the airport’s LAX-it lot, adding a 7-15 minute shuttle ride. Offsite parking is often more affordable at $20-30, but expect to take a shuttle to the airport, adding to the travel time. “If you’re just going for a day or two, it might be worth it to leave your car at the airport,” said Emily Scigliano, a senior environmental science and theater major. If favors are in short supply, parking at LAX is another option, but onsite parking can run $40 a day. The best option is having a vehicle and friend who is willing to make the trip. But with various ways to get to Los Angeles’ busiest airport, LAX, which one is best? Driveīy far the most convenient way to get to LAX is driving, the only caveat is access to a vehicle. “In honor of the death of SuperShuttle, on your way home tonight make a random stop at 7 different addresses before finally heading home,” Twitter user joked. With Fall Recess approaching and winter break around the corner, many students are flying out for the holidays. Other travelers at the airport similarly said they appreciated SuperShuttle’s comparatively low prices and the fact that a large family plus luggage could fit into the van.īut the vans’ high capacity also can mean inconveniently long, winding trips as riders are dropped off one by one. Asked what he’d do without SuperShuttle, Tuncay said: “Maybe I’ll have to start renting a car.” Tuncay said that for rides between LAX and Fontana, he used to rely on a taxi driver he’d befriended - until that driver’s fare rose to $500 for a round trip. The 45-year-old said he has enjoyed reserving a ride in advance and knowing the price far ahead of time - benefits that Uber and Lyft don’t provide. Merih Tuncay, waiting to be picked up at LAX on Thursday, said he has been a loyal SuperShuttle customer for the last five years as he splits his time between his homes in Turkey and Fontana. Customer service representative Ricky Heredia, who is stationed at the airport to help travelers connect with their rides, said he learned about the shutdown shortly before his lunch break Thursday: His manager handed him a letter saying his job would end Dec. SuperShuttle is also laying off employees. But two SuperShuttle reservations agents reached by telephone confirmed that the company was going out of business, as did a company executive who was not authorized to speak publicly. SuperShuttle executives could not be reached for official comment. 31.Īttempts to reach Mark Friedman, identified as general manager in the letter’s signature line, were unsuccessful Thursday. The company - which was founded in 1983 to serve LAX and expanded nationwide as well as to Latin America, Canada, Europe and Asia - has been plagued by competition from Uber and Lyft. SuperShuttle, the shared van ride that has served passengers heading to and from airports around the world, including Los Angeles International Airport, will cease operations at the end of the year. |
